Why We Started Furkids Inc.
Michelle Baker developed Furkids Inc. a long, long time ago. Michelle simply couldn’t find a care solution that met her furkids’ needs and wants – that also fit into her hectic work schedule of owning two wildly popular restaurants. To say Michelle is a high-maintenance Pet Parent is, well, an understatement and something she proudly owns. She was willing to pay for the best care, but it just didn’t exist. It was either dumping her pups off at an unstructured doggie daycare or having someone walk her pups in Florida’s afternoon heat for 15 to 30 minutes. None of these options fit her furkids.
Six years, an animal behavior specialists education, and a pandemic later, she finally had all the dog-puzzle pieces in place to launch the first services of Furkids Inc. This unique pet care operation provides in-home safe, structured, and engaging supervised activities professionally designed by animal behaviorists to enrich, fulfill, and yep, tire out your furkids all in the safety and familiarity of their home environment!
